• Trips are
open to youth in grades 6-12 who reside in the Elwood, Harborfields,
and Northport/East Northport School Districts. Trips are not open to
adult family members unless designated as "family trips".
Unfilled
trips are subject to cancellation.
• A parent or legal guardian must be present at registration in order
to register their child. Payment in full is due at time of registration.
• Sign up for one trip, or as many as you wish.
• Trip fees cover admission and transportation costs for youth. Meals are generally included (except
as noted in the trip description). Transportation is by 14-passenger van, school, or coach bus.
• Trip times vary. All youth must arrive promptly at
the YDA for the specified trip drop off time. Return times are approximate, but accurate.

• ALL trips
depart/return from the YDA office in East Northport (7 Diane Court).
• Youth
are expected to have the following items
with them at all times:
-- ID
-- A working wristwatch (for "check-in" times)
-- $10 in cash (in case of emergency). Staff will not loan money.
-- The necessary food, clothing, supplies as indicated in the description
for each trip.
• Youth are responsible to check in with YDA staff at designated times on trips. Those youth who
are unable to comply with this request will be required to remain with YDA staff for the entire duration
of the trip.
• The YDA is not responsible for damaged or missing items. Do not
bring valuables (jewelry, radios, video games, etc.) on trips.
